What began as a travel blog and redeveloped into a course-work Education blog, has now morphed into my personal catch-all journal. Continuing along the same lines, this Tumblr will still include education-related posts and reblogs, but will be more inclusive (as any good classroom) and will strive to be fun, engaging, charismatic and dare I say, popular. I've decided to direct most if not all Education-related posts to my new Tumblr: http://teacherandtech.tumblr.com/

Artifact Four: Shrooms of Algonquin

Commentary:

This Glogster was intended to showcase some of the mushrooms encountered while in Algonquin Park. It is another visually appealing artifact, useful, again for visual-spatial learners, and even, it can be argued, for the naturalist learner who wishes to share his love of the outdoors, without wasting cardboard, paints and other art supplies. A Teacher may wish to have students create glogsters during Earth Month (or really anytime) to make a point of not wasting paper. I found this site challenging when it came to uploading photos - there seems to be a limit as to how many you can insert into each project. It certainly limited my creativity!
